How
Our movement was born from an idea that took root in my mind through personal reflections on the challenges I faced as a father. This idea took shape as I met other fathers who, like me, struggled to be fully present in their children’s lives. These exchanges revealed a troubling reality: the role of fathers in our society is often overlooked or even undermined by certain administrative systems. Despite the love and unwavering commitment of many fathers, their role is not always recognised at its true value.
By conducting extensive research on my own, I sought to understand what was missing from existing organisations and what fathers seeking support truly needed. I found that, in every country, these struggles were being fought in isolation, without solidarity or coordination beyond national borders. Yet, the issue is global, and only by acting together can we bring about meaningful change.
Thus, we created a movement—not a foundation—with the aim of providing a space for discussion and mobilisation to advance the cause of fathers. Today, I am no longer alone. I have the support of a few local volunteers in Switzerland, who are also dedicated fathers. Their help is invaluable in maintaining and developing this project, which is driven by a shared vision: a world where fathers are fully recognised for their essential role within the family.
